Senses Fail Loses a Bass Player

Today Senses Fail posted something on their myspace informing fans that Mike Glita, bass, has parted ways with Senses Fail. Here is what was written:

" Dear Loyal Fans,

We regret to inform you today that our bassist, Mike Glita, has decided to part ways with the band. There are no hard feelings involved with his decision; Mike simply wants to move on and pursue personal ventures and feats he has put on hold for the last 5 years. We all had a good talk about it and wish him nothing but the best.

Something Mike would like to say to the fans: "Thanks to everyone who supported the band and me through 'thick and thin' over the past 5 ½ years. You'll be missed greatly."

As for the four of us (Buddy, Dan, Garrett, Heath), we will continue Senses Fail and see you all next year on tour. We began the writing process last week for our follow up to Still Searching and will keep everyone up to date with videos, photos and blogs!

Again, apologies go out to the loyal fans for the bad news, but we hope you support his decision as much as we do.

-Buddy, Dan, Garrett & Heath."

The B-Side on AutumnRadio

The B Side is a new show on AutumnRadio.net where I play only Live, Acoustic or Remixed tracks from various artists. Finally a radio that will play live music. It will be like you are at a show with all these great bands! ...well hopefully.

You can check out The B Side hosted by me (philthy) on Friday's from 9-10pacific standard time or catch the 'Encore' on Saturday's at the same time.

Also, during this week, you'll be able to hear a sneek preview of the show. So be on the look out for that!

If you hadn't heard already....Finch is back together.

Finch is back... That's right. On November 24th, Finch reunited at the Pomona Glasshouse in front of a packed house. During mid-set they announced their return and to look out for future dates.

RIP Casey Calvert....

Brandtson's New Projects

Brandtson has definitely taken a break. This is what Boose had to say:

"Hey guys... Boose from Brandtson here. Just wanted to give y'all a little head's up on some of my latest endeavors, namely Cauliflower Audio. Head on over to Cauliflower Audio and check out some of my latest remixes and production work. I've just finished a remix for The Start and am about to begin one for our pals in The Myriad. I've also been doing a lot of mastering for local projects and am always on the lookout for good bands to work with. Drop me a line and say hello. I'm pretty affordable and a nice guy too. Anyhow, we seriously miss you guys!!! Be sure to check out Myk's amazing new project at May This House Be Safe From Tigers and tell him it's awesome, because it really is. That's all for now. Take care!"
